It's a fine fall evening as I write this, and I should be at the football game. But I've been sitting here at my desk worrying. What I'm worrying about is Sully, a three-footed dog. Sully is a Great Pyrenees who's currently in the care of the Great Pyrenees Rescue Society of Houston, although he lives with a foster mom here in College Station while he waits for a permanent home."Sully came to us from Brenham, where a Good Samaritan found him on the night of July Fourth, standing in the middle of a road, appearing to be in shock," said Frances DeGelia, one of the big-hearted rescue folks working to make dogs' lives better. "She noted that he had only three feet -- one of his rear feet had been previously amputated," Frances said. "She took him to a vet, where he received his vaccinations and was neutered.
